ABC News personality Dan Abrams' work on television has made him one of America's most-recognized legal experts. One of his books will serve as inspiration for his speech next month at the Abraham Lincoln Association Symposium Banquet.
Abrams' wrote about Lincoln's last murder case as a lawyer in his bestselling book, "Lincoln’s Last Trial: The Murder Case That Propelled Him to the Presidency.” He will speak about his findings on Lincoln's 210th birthday, February 12, in downtown Springfield, Illinois at the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel.
The event will also be special for the Abrams family because his father, Floyd, will receive the Lincoln the Lawyer Award. Individual tickets to attend are available for $55.
In addition to being chief legal affairs anchor for ABC News, Abrams is also the host of "P.D. Live" on A&E. As the founder of the Abrams Media Network, he oversees several different digital media properties.
Abrams newest project is serving as host of the SiriusXM weekday program, "The Dan Abrams Show: Where Politics Meets the Law." He also owns a restaurant, White Street, located in Manhattan.
Abrams originally entered the national spotlight during his coverage of the O.J. Simpson trial for Court TV. He also previously worked for MSNBC before joining ABC in 2011.
