July is National Feminism Month and speakers are giving talks all across the country about women’s issues. Many women throughout the years have come to define the feminist movement with their ability to fight for issues important for gender equality. 

Even as we get more progressive, there is still a great need for powerful activists that can speak out about the rights of women. The U.S. national women’s soccer team’s current argument for equal pay is just one of many crusades currently being fought to advance feminism.
