Former Facebook executive Randi Zuckerberg is one of the top speakers in America. She recently talked to some of the future female business leaders at the breakfast meeting in Atlanta. Zuckerberg talked about her role as one of Facebook's first employees and why she ultimately left the social media juggernaut. She shared what she looks for in businesses now. Zuckerberg gave advice to women who particularly wanted to get involved in the technology space.  She also broke down in-depth the complex challenges that these women face.

“I sometimes worry that we are putting so much effort into thinking about how we can catch up in male-dominated fields, that we are completely missing the opportunity to get in on the ground floor," said Zuckerberg.

For 11 years, Zuckerberg headed up the market development for Facebook. She has gone on to invest in a variety of businesses and create social media content through her organization, Zuckerberg Media. Zuckerberg serves as editor-in-chief of the digital lifestyle site, Dot Complicated. While there, she has created the animated show, Dot, that portrays a young girl improving her life through the use of technology. Zuckerberg has also authored the books "Dot Complicated" and "Dot." Prior to joining Facebook, she worked in marketing and advertising after graduating from Harvard.
