Through her work with the NAACP, Roslyn Brock has devoted her life to protecting the rights of others. The organization's national Chairman Emeritus will serve as keynote speaker at their annual freedom fund banquet.
Brock will address the crowd assembled in Columbus, Georgia on January 4 at 7 p.m. at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center. They are relaunching the Columbus chapter of NAACP along with this event.
Tickets are available for $50 at the Carolyn Hugley State Farm, Citizen's Trust Bank and Courier Eco-latino Newspaper. Brock will talk about the achievements of the NAACP and what still needs to be accomplished going forward.
In 2010, Brock became the youngest person ever elected NAACP Chairman. She has been involved with the organization since being a youth board member in the 1980s.
Brock advocates for health policies and social justice change. In addition to being Chairman Emeritus, she serves as the Chief Advocacy Officer for Bon Secours Mercy Health.
Brock has over 30 years of experience managing and directing health programs both domestically and internationally. This year, she received the National Association of Health Services Executive's Distinguished Health Care Leader Award.
