Entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker Gary Vaynerchuk has been announced as the keynote speaker for the last day of Venture Madness 2016 that is happening on March 4th at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. Vaynerchuk will be speaking between the times of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Main Casino Level Showroom and will discuss how his background and definition of an entrepreneur got him where he is today. The price for a ticket to attend this event is $299 per person, and requests need to be emailed in through the Invest Southwest website. Discounts for investors and VC Discount passes will be available, and Invest Southwest is the number one organization in the region for connecting and networking investors with one another.
The 40-year old businessman, who also goes by the name of “Garyvee”, moved to the United States in 1978 and attended Mount Ida College in Newton, MA. Using his knowledge that he learned from the school, Vaynerchuk helped transform his family’s small liquor store in New Jersey into a giant retail wine store called Wine Library. With persistent marketing and pricing, the Garyvee was able to grow his father’s store from a $3 million dollar yearly profit to a $50 million dollar one, which is what kicked off his business life. Vaynerchuk has since created several media pieces like his blog titled the DailyVee and has written books such as “Crush it”, “The Thank You Economy” and “#AskGaryVee” which are all best sellers.
Vaynerchuk will be speaking at this year’s Venture Madness event in the Phoenix-area of Arizona on March 4th at the Talking Stick resort. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for people who are trying to make it with their small businesses, and turn them into bigger stores.
