Many places are starting to announce who their speakers will be for their annual celebrations of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Trine University is one of the first to release their information and educational consultant Joe Martin will be their special guest of honor February 1.
The theme of this year's event at Trine is "The Power of Diversity and Inclusion." It will begin at 7 p.m. in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts' Ryan Concert Hall and is free and open to the public.
Martin is sure to infuse some thoughts on the power of education in his speech. In addition to his presentation, there will be performances from the Angola High School Vocal Point concert choir and Vocal Infinity show choir.
Martin has the unique distinction as being the youngest professor ever in the state of Florida to earn tenure. He now trains over 45,000 teachers and administrators every year in his role as a consultant and speaker.
In addition to his experience in education, Martin has worked as the top sales trainer for a Fortune 500 company and as a public relations liaison for state and local government. He is the former communications director for the office of the governor of Florida.
Martin is the author of nine books and he hosts ITunes' #1 rated podcast for Christian men. He has been featured as a guest on ABC, NBC and TBN.
