Crisis manager, lawyer, author, and television producer Judy Smith is set to be the keynote speaker for the YWCA El Paso del Norte Region’s 25th Annual Women’s Luncheon. The event is happening on April 26th at the Judson F. Williams Convention Center in El Paso, Texas and will likely host between 1,200 and 2,000 people. Smith is likely to give a talk about what the YWCA’s impact on the community is and share some of her own inspiring words and stories.
The Washington D.C. native went to school in the nation’s capital and eventually attended college at Boston University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. Later on, she earned her law degree from American University’s Washington College of Law, and eventually landed herself as the Special Assistant and Deputy Press Secretary to President George H.W. Bush. After leaving her role as a White House staff member, she started her own business called Smith & Company where she specializes in crisis management and media relations. Her firm has worked with some big names such as Monica Lewinsky, Wesley Snipes, and Michael Vick.
Smith will be in Texas on April 26th to be the keynote speaker for this year’s YWCA El Paso del Norte Region’s 25th Annual Women’s Luncheon.
