Journalist Amy Robach has been selected as a speaker for the 33rd Annual Miami Breast Cancer Conference that is happening on March 10-13 at the Fountainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. This event is often recognized as one of the top breast cancer meetings in the world and offers survivors, family members, and those currently battling breast cancer with a lot of important information on how to manage the illness. It is also a great opportunity for the leading national and international surgical and medical oncologists to update the audience on what is happening in the industry and what advancements have been made towards eliminating breast cancer and increasing survival rates. At the end of the conference, attendees will be able to leave feeling confident that progress is being made every day to fight breast cancer and what options are available out there. Robach is a survivor of breast cancer herself and is expected to speak about how she managed to become better and what obstacles she had along the way. The New York City native has been working in media and broadcast journalism since her high school years, and even was the 4th runner up in the Miss Georgia pageant in 1994. She went to Washington D.C. to work for NBC News as a stint anchor for morning shows, which she did for four years before being named the co-anchor of the Weekend Today program in 2007. In 2012, Robach switch stations to work for ABC and was eventually named their Good Morning America correspondent in 2014, which came just a few months after she underwent chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. Robach will be speaking at this year’s Annual Miami Breast Cancer Conference happening in early March in Miami Beach, and it is expected to be one of the best and most informative congregations for becoming more educated on the breast cancer illness.
