William J. Dobson Biography

He has offered political commentary and analysis for ABC, CNN, CBS, MSNBC, PBS, and NPR. Mr. Dobson served as a visiting scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace from 2008 to 2009. The World Economic Forum designated Mr. Dobson a Young Global Leader in 2006. Numerous international foundations have acknowledged and honored him, including the Council for the United States and Italy, the Salzburg Global Seminar, the East-West Center, the Knight Foundation, and the Singapore International Foundation. Harvard University, the University of Chicago, and Stanford University have all awarded him, fellowships. A 1994 Truman Scholar, Mr. Dobson. Mr. Dobson graduated from Harvard University with a Masters's in East Asian Studies and the Harvard Law School with a J.D. Summa cum laude, his bachelor's degree, was awarded by Middlebury College. Along with his wife and two kids, he resides in Washington, DC.
