On September 6, 1964, Todd Palin was born in Alaska. He is married to Sarah Palin, a former governor of Alaska and 2008 vice presidential candidate for John McCain. In addition to working as a commercial fisherman and in the oil production industry, he received his high school diploma from Wasilla in 1982. He has won the Iron Dog four times, the world's longest and roughest snowmobile race, which spans more than 2000 miles from Alaska's Mat-Su Valley to Nome and Fairbanks. From 2006 through 2009, Palin served as Alaska's First Gentleman and First Dude. He concentrated on Alaskan workers' chances for vocational employment during his time in this capacity. Additionally, he owns a Cessna 185 float plane and has his private pilot's license. He and the rest of his family made an appearance on Sarah Palin's Alaska on TLC, where he helped with production and logistics. Todd competed in the NBC reality series Stars Earn Stripes, which pits famous people against one another in exercises that are modeled after actual military operations.
