The Wonder Years Biography

The Wonder Years is a June 2005-founded American pop punk band from Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Since their founding, they have put out two EPs, four full-length albums, many split/compilations, and two full-length albums. Out of the leftovers of The Premier, a band from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, The Wonder Years were created in 2005. Two rather unheard-of split EPs with other local bands were issued within their first two years. Three tracks from their first album (which they made with Emergency and I) were released in 2005. They later re-recorded two of those for their debut full-length album Get Stoked on It! No Sleep Records acquired The Wonder Years in 2007. The Wonder Years recorded their first full-length studio album, Get Stoked on It!, after finishing their first tour of the United Kingdom with Never So True. The Wonder Years released an EP called Won't Be Pathetic Forever in the spring of 2008. The Wonder Years and the UK pop punk band All or Nothing collaborated on the Distances split EP, which was released in 2009. The Upsides, the second full-length album by The Wonder Years, was made available on January 26, 2010. The Upsides sold 1852 copies in its first week and debuted at No. 5 on the Alternative Artist list, No. 9 on the Top New Artist chart, No. 26 on the Top Internet Album chart, and No. 43 on the Indie Label Album chart on the Billboard charts.
