Musgrave, Story M.D. is a physician and a former astronaut for NASA. In Stockbridge, Massachusetts, on a dairy ranch, Story Musgrave was born in 1935. He was alone in the wilderness at three and had his self-built pontoons cruising the streams by five. He began riding consolidated buses at age 7, drove trucks and work vehicles at age 10, and, when by himself in remote fields, mended them at age 13. At the age of 13, he flew alone. Over the course of the next 70 years, he logged 18000 hours of flight time, including 7000 hours in supersonic aircraft, and earned US Air Force and NASA Wings. He dropped out of school. At the age of 17, he escaped to Korea with the U.S. Marines and served as a group leader and plane captain at K-6 Airbase Korea and on the transport ship USS Wasp. He is a parachutist with more than 800 freefalls under his belt, 100 trials, and the primary examination of the human body's streamlined characteristics during freefall. He has been awarded 21 privileged doctorates and holds six advanced degrees in math, computer science, medicine, organic material science, and literature. Throughout the entirety of his career as a space traveler, he served as a low-maintenance injury expert at Denver General Hospital. He is the space explorer with the greatest official training.
