Stephanie Schriock is a Democratic strategist and the founder of EMILY's List. Schriock was named EMILY's List leader in 2010. EMILY's list is an organization that selects professional decision Democratic females to pursue specific positions. Schriock is accountable for leading the organization to one of its most successful political decision cycles in its 29-year existence in 2012, when it collected more than $52 million and elected a record number of women to the House and Senate. In addition to serving as the president of EMILY's List, Stephanie is the president of American Women, a research organization affiliated with EMILY's List that seeks to raise public awareness of problems impacting women and families, and she frequently appears on television. Stephanie was also selected to ELLE Magazine's ""10 Most Powerful Women in Washington"" list. As a political consultant, Schriock recently worked on the campaigns of Senator Al Franken in 2008 and Senator Jon Tester in 2006. She was also the Finance Director for Howard Dean's presidential campaign in 2004. She graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato in 1995 and went on to get her master's degree in political administration at George Washington University."
