Serinda Swan was born in Vancouver, Canada, to a family of professionals, including her entertainer mother and theatrical director father, with a well-established acting school. Serinda is naturally drawn to portraying human emotion, and at the age 3, she co-starred alongside Ted Danson and Isabella Rossellini in her debut movie, Cousins. After working in the industry for a few years, she quit pursuing severe acrobatics. She later returned in 2009, gaining an appreciation for and excitement for acting. Popular television programs, including "Extraordinary," "Psych," "Harvester," and "Hawaii Five-O," introduced Serinda to the outside world. Serinda was assigned the infamous character of "Zatana" in the top-rated series "Smallville" in 2009. The Breakup Artist, Percy Jackson, and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, directed by Chris Columbus, as well as Disney's "Tron" opposite Beau Garrett, were soon to come.
