After from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in 1993, Scott honed his skills with successful restaurateurs and culinary specialists, including Norman Van Aken, Mark Militello, Kerry Simon, and Pascal Oudin. In New York City, he also made arrangements for Chanterelle and Le Cirque. a resident of Miami Beach, FL, Scott spent considerable time as the head chef specialist at Rumi, one of South Beach's most popular and well-known cafés. He received noteworthy polls from The New York Times and The Miami Herald while he was a resident. Also, he has served as a guest culinary expert at New York City's famed James Beard Foundation Dinner.
