Queen Moves is a non-profit organization founded by Chess Grandmaster Maurice Ashley and entrepreneur Amy Lee to empower young girls and women through chess. Their mission is to provide opportunities for girls and women to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and to promote gender equality in the world of chess.
Queen Moves hosts chess camps, tournaments, workshops, and mentoring programs that inspire and encourage girls and women to become leaders on and off the chessboard. The organization believes that chess can be a powerful tool for personal growth and empowerment and help break down barriers and create a more inclusive society.
