Bill Owens is the former executive producer of CBS News' iconic 60 Minutes, a role he held from February 2019 until his resignation in April 2025.
A 37-year CBS veteran, he started as a summer intern in 1988, rising through positions such as White House producer, senior broadcast producer for CBS Evening News, and, since 2007, senior producer/executive editor at 60 Minutes.
