Marko lives in San Diego and works as a coach, consultant, speaker and author whose expertise, devotion and experience comes from engaging the youth and young adults, especially when it concerns the church. Marko thrilled a diverse audience of middle schoolers and high schoolers from two churches for an event which were Brandon Best, Middle School Pastor, Oakwood Baptist Church, New Braunfels, TX by re-enacting a popular story in the Bible. Mark Oestreicher has been committed to church ministry his entire life, especially with youth workers and teenagers. Marko received knowledgeable expertise from working in churches across the country, serving in positions ranging from Junior High Pastor to Executive Pastor. Marko served as the president of Youth Specialties in San Diego, an organization that trains and provides church youth workers with necessary tools to thrive for 11 years. Marko has written or lent his contributions to over 50 books including Middle School Ministry (co-authored with WillowCreeks Scott Rubin) and the widely discussed Youth Ministry 3.0. Marko keynotes internationally and nationally; consults with ministry non-profits, publishers and churches and also directs the Youth Ministry Coaching Program. Marko is interactive on social media as an active blogger with thousands of daily readers and followers and he is also enlightened in all things youth and digital. For 24 years, Marko has been married to his wife Jeannie and they have two teenage children, Max and Liesl.
