Larry Friedman Biography

Larry Friedman is originally from Chicago, Illinois, and is a graduate of the University of Illinois, with the degree Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Following 23 years of practicing his profession in Sweetwater County, Wyoming, he now devotes full-time to his Freelance Photography business, Wilderness Concepts and is again located in the Chicago area.

The State of Wyoming commissioned Larry to produce a fine art traveling show to celebrate the state's centennial.

The recipient of many awards, including a WY Arts Council Fellowship, his work was used for 5 years by the Agfa Film Corporation to promote its photographic products around the world.

His corporate clients have included Embassy Suites Hotels, Peter Kiewit Mines, Church & Dwight Corp., Solvay Chemical, Texas Gulf Inc., FMC Corp., State of WY, Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and the Agfa Film Corp.

Former Governor Sullivan of Wyoming used Friedman's work as gifts to present to foreign dignitaries. His work is part of many private and corporate art collections worldwide.
