When he first started recording he was releasing music under the name G-Storm. Lucas gained widespread recognition and acclaim for his 2015 single Ross Capicchioni. In November 2017 he released his single I'm Not Racist on YouTube. The song and accompanying video quickly went viral. His work has been nominated for two Grammy Awards. Lucas has collaborated with artists such as Eminem. His collaboration with Eminem Lucky You debuted at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 which was Lucas' first entry into the top 10.
