Dave Davies is the CEO and co-owner of Beanstalk SEO. He has been involved in the SEO industry since 2000 and is a well-known author speaker blogger radio host and industry specialist. When Dave founded Beanstalk SEO in 2004 it was to follow his “passion for the game” and a need for ethical organic SEO services.
Beanstalk started as a 2 person operation at the foot of Dave’s bed and has grown to a high successful corporation thanks to hard work (yes even those running Internet companies have to put in a lot of hard work) and a talented staff. From a focus exclusively on organic rankings and link building their skills have grown with the industry insuring that their clients cover all the based from social media exposure to brand and reputation management and of course … organic rankings for relevant and targeted keywords.
Prior to launching Beanstalk SEO Dave worked for WeDoHosting.com in sales and support. It was during his time with WeDo that it struck him. He asked himself “Wouldn’t it be easier to sell a service if the clients came to us instead of us having to go to them?” As anyone familiar with SEO will know … the answer to that question is “Yes. Yes it is easier.” An incredibly valuable lesson that proved profitable for that then smaller hosting company and perhaps even more valuable to Dave and all the clients he’s served since.
