Melise Rebecca Becca Tobin is an actress, singer, and dancer from the United States. She is best recognized for her role as Kitty Wilde in the Fox comedy-drama series Glee. Tobin's previous television credits include Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime, 2008-2014), NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS, 2009), Mystery Girls (ABC Family, 2013-14), and, most recently, Turner & Hooch (Disney+, 2021). Tobin began her professional career in a Theatre Under the Stars performance of the musical Cats in Houston. She was a member of the Theater of the Stars company's ensemble of Oklahoma! in Atlanta from 2008 to 2009. Tobin made her Broadway debut in the character of Sherrie Christian and as a swing in the musical Rock of Ages. She traveled with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in 2011. Tobin starred as cheerleader and glee club member Kitty Wilde in the Fox musical comedy-drama television series Glee from 2012 to 2015. She initially appeared as the role in the fourth season premiere episode The New Rachel, and she remained a regular recurring cast member for the rest of the season. For the fifth season of the show, she was promoted to major cast member. Kitty's debut was met with mixed reactions from critics, although attitudes on the character quickly shifted. Several songs sung by Tobin as Kitty on the show have been published as digital download singles and have been included on the soundtrack albums. Tobin has co-hosted the female-centric podcast series LadyGang with Keltie Knight and Jac Vanek since December 2015. LadyGang debuted as a discussion program on the E! network in October 2018. The famous LadyGang podcast has over 100 million downloads, making it one of the world's most popular podcasts for women. The show has been nominated for a webby, a people's choice award, and was voted podcast of the year in 2016.
