Amy Dixon Biography

Amy Dixon is a highly sought-after wine expert motivational speaker and triathlete speaking on television and radio and at various seminars on all subjects pertaining to the world of wine and overcoming obstacles to achieve a full life. She recently lost 97 percent of her sight due to a rare type of Uveitis (an inflammatory eye disease) and now travels the world with her guide dog Elvis by her side raising awareness for the school that trained him Guiding Eyes for the Blind and speaking to groups about her passion for wine. She is a Certified Wine Specialist from the Society of Wine Educators a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Institute for Public Speaking and is available to speak to groups from 6-600 anywhere in the world. Amy is now an elite Para-triathlete competing on the world ITU Paratriathlon circuit on the USA Paratriathlon Team training and racing for the upcoming Paralympics as both a cyclist and triathlete.
