With 41 nominations, he is the most nominated actor in any major acting category at Filmfare, having won fifteen awards. Bachchan has worked as a playback vocalist, film producer, and television host in addition to acting. He has hosted numerous seasons of Kaun Banega Crorepati, India's version of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? game show series. In the 1980s, he also tried his hand at politics. For his services to the arts, the Indian government awarded him the Padma Shri in 1984, the Padma Bhushan in 2001, and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015. In 2007, the French government awarded him the highest civilian honor, the Knight of the Legion of Honour, for his outstanding achievements in the film industry and beyond. Bachchan also appeared in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, a Hollywood blockbuster.
