His most recent album, Shine On Rainy Day, was released in October 2016 and is his major-label debut (with Elektra). The album has thus far peaked at number 17 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Cobb has also written songs for a variety of country artists including, Luke Bryan, Kellie Pickler, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, and others.
