Vipul Ved Prakash is a software engineer and entrepreneur best known for his collaborative anti-spam solution, Vipul's Razor. Vipul co-founded Cloudmark in 2001, a firm that creates email security software for individuals, businesses, and ISPs based on Vipul's Razor collaborative filtration technology. Vipul was a co-founder of Topsy, a social search and analytics firm, in 2008.
Vipul was born and raised in New Delhi, India. He spent most of his adolescent years outside of the classroom, creating computer programs and competing in Table Tennis. He won the junior state championship at the age of 13 and went on to play on the national table tennis circuit until he graduated.
