Victor Luo Biography

Victor Luo is a participant in the Operations and Planning Software (OPS) Lab's Natural User Interfaces driving assessment (NUI). He is developing novel ways to command robots using simple body gestures rather than complicated controllers while collaborating with other NASA communities. He has shown these techniques with both useful automated limbs and traversable robots. He participates in the administrator's complete immersion in the control scenario using stereoscopic 3D and skeletal adherence. Mr. Luo is now seeking information on multi-client control of a resource or model of equipment using combined input from many stages (touchscreen console/mouse body signals, etc.). Luo is in charge of expanding groups that work with Mars Outreach and commercial traders to have intelligent interactions connected to STEM. Past interactions have included the planning and scheduling of the fractionated shuttle's Mars rocket activities, as well as 3D observation of Mars's terrain and meanderer telemetry. His goal is to research and develop concepts for space exploration with a focus on PC-human interactions and distinctive user interfaces.
