The third child of the renowned actor and singer of Peking opera Zhou Xinfang and her Western-educated mother Ju Lilian Tsai Chin, the first Chinese student to train at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London subsequently went on to receive a master's degree at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Her career has spanned three continents and more than five decades. She appeared in Golden Child on Broadway and The World of Suzie Wong on the West End of London.
