Snell teaches leadership and strategic management courses at Darden as a professor of business administration. His study focuses on the executives as a crucial human resource, and he is now listed among the top 150 researchers in the field of the board. In addition, he co-authors four publications, including Managing Human Resources Management, M: Management, and Managing People and Knowledge in Professional Service Companies. He served on the Society for Human Resource Management Foundation boards, the Academy of Management's Human Resource Division, the Human Resource Management Journal, the Academy of Management Journal, and the Academy of Management Review. He has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies in the US and Europe to adjust interests in ability and critical capacity. Before joining the Darden team in 2007, Snell worked as a professor and the director of leader development at Cornell University's Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies and as an executive business educator at Pennsylvania State University's Smeal College of Business.
