Ryan Hurd has written songs that have been recorded by Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, and the Swon Brothers. More recently Hurd has begun to lend his own voice to the songs he writes. Hurd married his girlfriend fellow country star Maren Morris. He grew up in Kalamazoo Michigan prior to moving to Nashville to pursue a country music career. Hurd's debut EP the eponymous Ryan Hurd was released on Sony Music Nashville in 2017 and features the popular singles Love in a Bar and To a T.
