Rob Legato is a highly accomplished visual effects supervisor, second unit director, and second director of photography. He has directed the 2017 film "Eloise" and has been nominated for four Academy Awards, winning three for his exceptional work on "Titanic," "Hugo," and "The Jungle Book." Additionally, he won the BAFTA award for Best Achievement in Special Effects for "Apollo 13," for which he also received his first Academy Award nomination. Legato began his career as a Visual Effects Supervisor for "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," earning three Emmy nominations and two wins for his contributions. He is a proud member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA), American Society of Cinematographers (ASC), and Visual Effects Society (VES).
