Quique Dacosta is a Michelin-starred chef from Spain known for his innovative approach to traditional Mediterranean cuisine. He grew up in the coastal town of Denia in the Valencian Community, where he worked in his family's restaurant as a young boy.
Dacosta studied culinary arts in Valencia and worked at several top restaurants in Spain before opening his own restaurant, El Poblet, in 2003.
