Prof. Dr. Henk Barendregt is a Dutch mathematician and computer scientist known for his contributions to developing lambda calculus and its applications in computer science and artificial intelligence. He is a professor emeritus at Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands and has received numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious Knuth Prize in 2017.
