Marlene LeFever's Christian education textbooks Learning Styles and Creative Teaching Methods received Awards of Merit from the Evangelical Christian Publisher's Association. Both books have been published in Dutch Portuguese Chinese and Spanish and both were included in the 2006 list of the most used Christian education textbooks. She serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Christianity Today's Leadership Journal. LeFever has taught as adjunct faculty at North American Baptist Seminary Tyndale (Canada) College & Seminary Princeton Seminary Talbot Theological Seminary Denver Seminary Canadian Bible College and delivered doctoral lectures at the Asia Graduate School of Theology Philippines. She has directed the International Christian Publishing Institute and taught workshops for publishers in Brazil and India. In 2006/07 LeFever directed the David C. Cook Landmark Study in Christian Education. She serves on the board of the Center for Student Missions an organization that gives teens a cross-cultural experience in their own country as they work with social and Christian organization in the intercity. A frequent speaker at Sunday school conventions writers' conferences professional organizational meetings and churches she has done cross-cultural Christian education in Mexico City and Manila and has led Christian education seminars in the United States Canada Australia England Brazil Guatemala Ireland and Scotland.
