Gayle Jennings-O'Byrne Biography

After 20+ years on Wall Street, technology, philanthropy and policy, Jennings-O’Byrne is embracing her female superpowers to amplify social change. Her boldest endeavor to date is The Harriet Fund I, an early stage venture fund to invest in technology startups led by Black and Latina women founders.

Inspired by American icon Harriet Tubman, The Harriet Fund I, provides a provides a variety of investors access to untapped value and opportunity within the fastest growing entrepreneurial sector while positively investing and impacting families, communities and economies.

Jennings-O’Byrne is channeling wisdom from her investment banking, philanthropy, lobbying and marketing roles at JPMorgan Chase and Sun Microsystems and tapping into her learnings as a graduate of Wharton School of Business and University of Michigan, plus participation in 500VC Unlocked/Stanford University, the National University of Singapore and City of London Polytechnic programs.

She’s been responsible for developing and managing investment strategy, valuation, modeling and due diligence.
