Frederick Fritz Demopoulos has been involved in the Chinese media and Internet industries for over a decade. In 2005 Fritz co-founded China's largest online travel website Qunar. The company listed on the NASDAQ in 2013. Fritz also co-founded China's biggest online sports media website Shawei. Shawei was acquired by Hutchison Whampoa-affiliate Tom.com in 2000. Additionally he held senior positions in China with Netease and News Corp. Fritz currently coordinates his entrepreneurial activities through Queen’s Road Capital a Hong Kong-based private equity firm. Fritz was educated at UCLA The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Karls-Ruprecht University in Heidelberg.
