Erica Campbell Biography

Erica Campbell is an American Grammy winner urban contemporary gospel Christian R&B and contemporary R&B recording artist musician and radio host. She started her music career in 1998 with her younger sister Tina Campbell as part of the gospel music group Mary Mary from 2000 to 2012. Her solo music career began in 2013 and has since released two albums with Entertainment One Music which both charted on the Billboard magazine charts. She won a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album at the 57th edition of the event. Since May 2016 she has served as the host of Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell with comedian Griff that airs on Urban Gospel which is owned by Radio One.
Erica's first solo album the eclectic Help was released in March 2014. Almost all of its songs were co-written by Erica and her husband Warryn. Led by the singles A Little More Jesus (a rustic triumphant shouter) and Help (a steady organic shuffle with a guest verse from Lecrae) it entered Billboard's Gospel Albums chart at number one and peaked at number six on the all-genre Billboard 200. In 2015 Campbell released her second solo album Help 2.0 which also reached the #1 position on the US Gospel Charts.
In April 2018 Erica and husband launched their own reality television show on TV One We're the Campbells.
