Eric Ries is an entrepreneur and the author of Crown Business's New York Times bestselling book The Lean Startup: How Today's Entrepreneurs Use Continuous Innovation to Create Radically Successful Businesses. He serves on the advisory boards of many technology startups and has provided consulting services to both new and existing businesses as well as venture capital organizations.
He is presently an IDEO Fellow and was designated entrepreneur-in-residence at Harvard Business School in 2010. IMVU, his third firm, he co-founded and served as the CTO. He was named one of the Best Young Entrepreneurs in Technology by BusinessWeek in 2007. He received a TechFellow award in the field of Engineering Leadership in 2009.
