Syra Madad, D.H.Sc., M.Sc., MCP is a broadly perceived leader and epidemiologist in general wellbeing and exceptional pathogen readiness and reaction. She is Senior Director, System-wide Special Pathogens Program at New York City Health + Hospitals, the country's biggest medical services delivery system managing uncommon pathogen readiness and response endeavors across 11 intense care clinics notwithstanding post-intense/long-haul care offices and ambulatory care destinations. She is Principal Investigator of NYC Health + Hospitals Institute of Diseases and Disaster Management and Health and Safety Lead of the Enhanced Special Investigations Unit of NYC Test and Trace Corp. Dr. Madad procured her Doctoral certificate in Health Science with a fixation in Global Health from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with Alpha Eta Health Science Honor Society status. She got her Master of Science certificate in Biotechnology with a focus in Biodefense and Biosecurity and a Bachelor of Science certificate in Psychology from the University of Maryland. Dr. Madad holds various expert accreditations, licenses, and training endorsements including Master Continuity Practitioner Certification (FEMA), Advanced Emergency Planning Certification, Biosafety Level III Training, Infection Control and Prevention Certification, All Hazard Response (CBRNE) Training for Laboratory Personnel, and Identification of the Primary Select Agents of Bioterrorism Training.
