Chris Jackson Biography

Chris Jackson is a full Professor and the Graduate Director for the MFA Visual Communication Design program at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He teaches graduate courses in interaction design motion graphics and 3D digital design. Chris’ scholarly work has been published and featured at Adobe MAX SIGGRAPH TypeCon and the UCDA Design Education Summit. He has been a featured speaker at Adobe MAX since 2008 and has been awarded the honor of MAX Master. Chris is the author of “After Effects and CINEMA 4D Lite: 3D Motion Graphics and Visual Effects Using CINEWARE” (Focal Press 2014). His previous books include Flash + After Effects (2nd Edition) and Flash Cinematic Techniques which have been translated into foreign languages. Chris continues to work as an illustrator designer and consultant for worldwide corporations and nonprofit organizations. His professional work has received over 25 distinguished national and international awards for online communication.
