Brett Bibby Biography

Brett Bibby is a strategic and creative thinker with more than 30 years of experience developing games and game engine technology as well as founding and developing businesses. He currently serves as VP of Engineering at Unity Technologies. In this role he is responsible for managing the global engineering team helping to define communicate and implement development and product strategy and practices across the organization. Bibby joined Unity in May 2012 as evangelist and field engineer. Before Unity Bibby was Designer Programmer and Artist for an Indie Game Developer.
Earlier in his career Bibby founded and directed technology development of a company called GameBrains a boutique game developer based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. He managed the company from inception to a peak of 55 employees developing console titles then transitioned the staff and company’s move into devices and desktops. He also helped launch Creative Talents a company developing a range of software focused mostly on video games and edutainment. During his time at Creative Talents he designed and programmed several commercial titles for Virgin Interactive and other publishers.
Bibby has a BS in International Business from California State University-Sacramento.
