Brady Williams Biography

Brady Williams is a chef at Seattle-based restaurant Canlis. In 2019 he received a James Beard Award for Best Chef: Northwest. Williams is Canlis' sixth-ever Executive Chef and has received acclaim for his role. Williams received a perfect 4-star review in the Seattle Times for his work at Canlis and in 2017 he was a finalist for the James Beard Award of Rising Star Chef of the Year.
Williams originally dedicated his life to pursuing a professional hockey career. After being seriously injured he began working at his grandparent's diner and found a new passion. In 2012 he was selected as the Chef de Cuisine at FT33 a restaurant under chef Matt McCalllister in Dallas. In 2018 he was named one of Food & Wine's Best New Chefs.
