She and her three other co-chairs were recognized in the 2017 TIME 100 for their work organizing the Women's March, in which she was one of the key figures. Mallory is also a supporter of feminism, the Black Lives Matter movement, and gun control. Mallory is the president of her own company, Mallory Consulting, which specializes in strategic planning and event management. She presently serves on the board of Gathering for Justice, an organization that works to end the incarceration of children and to change laws that lead to mass incarceration.
