Economist Daniel Kahneman has unique insights on the way leaders operate in the financial world. He will address attendees at the OurCrowd Global Investor Summit on that topic as keynote speaker.
The event takes place March 7 in Jerusalem, Israel and will particularly focus on the startup community. Kahneman will discuss what behaviors are common for impact entrepreneurs.
Some of Israel's top technologies will also be on display, an in lieu of traditional panels, the conference's breakout sessions are meant to foster collaboration. Registration is still open with tickets remaining.
Kahneman is a professor emeritus at Princeton University and a fellow at the Center for Rationality at the Hebrew University. He has also previously taught psychology at the University of British Columbia and the University of California.
In 2002, Kahneman won the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences. He has also received prestigious awards like the American Psychological Association's Lifetime Contribution Award and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Much of Kahneman's research has been focused on the psychology of judgment and decision-making and behavioral economics. He became a bestselling author in 2011 with "Thinking, Fast and Slow."
