Aurora Cooperative held their ACE Summit earlier this month with a little added star power from the reality television world. Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson was the keynote speaker at the farming conference, held February 12-13 at the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center at Fonner Park in Nebraska. Robertson was the Wednesday lunch presenter. He shared the story of his family's humble beginnings and how he has been able to build the family business into a multi-million dollar company. The crowd was delighted to hear from Robertson and hear some of his more colorful stories. Attendees were also able to take part in two days of trade show activities and several workshops. As the CEO of Duck Commander, Robertson oversees the U.S.'s bestselling duck call brand. He is also the CEO of Buck Commander which trademarks a variety of goods and apparel that fit in the hunting genre. The Robertson family is best known for their A&E reality series, Duck Dynasty. He was a main character on the series for all 11 seasons. Robertson is a graduate of NE Louisiana University and has been named an Outstanding Young Alumni by the school. In 2014, he was the recipient of the inaugural Governor's Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence in Louisiana.
