American futurist and theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku spoke at the ISTE 2016 conference that happened on June 26th in the city of Denver in the Colorado Convention Center. Dr. Kaku discussed the specifics of how the future is rapidly changing and how it will impact learning and teaching in the future. In addition to that, there was indepth talking on how the whole career side of things will drastically be altered and that eventually middle class jobs would be phased out over time. To fine tune that thought, Kaku believes that people in the medical industry will be called to action more than ever before.
The California-born native was born to Japanese native parents and has studied in both the United States as well as Japan, and is fluent in both Japanese and English. He was drafted to the Vietnam War, but luckily the war ended before he could be sent on deployment, so he ended up becoming part of the research program in the physics department at The City College of The City University of New York where he did some work on quantum mechanics. Over the course of his career, Kaku has produced over 70 articles in physicals journals such as Physical Review and wrote about topics regarding supergravity, hadronic physics, and superstring theory.
Dr. Kaku will be speaking later on this month in the Centennial State to give a keynote address to this year’s ISTE conference, where he will be enlightening people from all different businesses.
