Zane Lowe Biography

Television personality and radio DJ Zane Lowe. Prior to migrating to England, he was born in New Zealand. He hosts the evening program on BBC Radio 1, which features a wide range of alternative music, such as rock, punk, drum & bass, and hip hop. He was a former VJ on MTV from 1997 to 2002 when he hosted Brand: New. He was also the host of the MTV Rocks program Gonzo. Lowe performs with the group Breaks Co-Op. Together with his wife and sons Jackson and Lucius, Lowe currently resides in London. From 7 to 9 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, Lowe's radio show can be listened to.
