American reporter Yochi J. Dreazen works for Foreign Policy. He had previously worked as a National Journal correspondent. He is a specialist in both national security and military matters. On radio and television shows including The Diane Rehm Show and Washington Week with Gwen Ifill, he frequently appears as a guest. The US city of Chicago is where Dreazen was born. He created a student newspaper at the Ida Crown Jewish Academy, where he received his diploma in 1994. Prior to enrolling in college, he spent a year in Israel. His degrees in history and English from the University of Pennsylvania were awarded magna cum laude in 1999.
