As Vice President of Customer Advocacy in Europe, Mr. Elfrink joined Cisco in 1997. He received a promotion to Senior Vice President of Customer Advocacy in November 2000, assumed overall leadership of the department, and relocated to San Jose, California. In order to launch Cisco's Globalization Center East, Mr. Elfrink relocated to Bangalore, India, after being named Chief Globalization Officer in December 2006. He was appointed Executive Vice President in August 2007.
