2016 saw the appointment of Wilf Blackburn to the position of CEO of Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (Prudential Singapore). Having worked in seven Asian nations, Mr. Blackburn is a seasoned professional with roughly three years of experience in diverse catastrophe prevention. In 2012, he moved to Hong Kong to work for Prudential Corporation Asia, initially leading new market initiatives. This position involved overseeing the establishment of Prudential's delegate offices in Myanmar and Laos as well as the distribution of Prudential's commercial operations in Cambodia. Mr. Blackburn was chosen in 2014 to lead Vietnam as the country's CEO of Prudential Vietnam. Mr. Blackburn spent more than 11 years with Allianz before joining Prudential, where he held positions such as provincial senior supervisor of life and medical coverage for Asia and CEO of their additional security joint ventures in China, Thailand, and the Philippines. After starting his career with a business of counseling statisticians, he then worked in the UK for three life safety net companies before joining Allianz.
